aaron_christyOvercast with the slight chance of rain was the forecast for Aaron and Christy’s wedding day. I was praying the whole time that rain would stay away (yes the song actually ran through my mind a couple times) and gratefully, it didn’t rain until we were safely tucked away at the reception – shooting all the crazy dancing. So we were lucky to have cloudy, beautifully defused lighting outside all-day-long!

Sam + Lisa | Engaged

sam_lisa2Rarely do I have “bright-and-early-morning” kind of engagement shoots! Sam and Lisa’s began at the Popcorn Shop, 9:30 am. We had one day – just one. Sam and Lisa were coming in from Chicago for the weekend – a weekend that was pretty much booked for me, well… except for Saturday morning! It turned out to be a lovely!

The location they chose for their celebration combines all of the goodness of home and the classiness of the city and for this photographer – it was quite intoxicating!

trevor_kateTrevor and Kate are exactly the kind of couple that you’d want to hang out with, go to a ball game, camping, you know – easy-going and relaxed. So it was pretty cool that Nathan and I got to spend one of the nicest evenings in May wandering about Bay Village with a couple iced coffees and pretty much no agenda (well, except for making it to the beach before sunset!)
