Here are the answers:

I was referred to you by a friend but your business name had changed. What happened?
The short answer: We got married! We both were photographers with businesses that included our full names before we met and we have recently combined our work and efforts. Nathan had been photographing weddings for 7 years and Amanda for 5 years before we began shooting together. We have been shooting weddings together for 5 years now and this website is a composition of our work together during that time.
Do you do destination weddings or weddings in another state?
Absolutely! We love destination weddings! We have photographed weddings in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Michigan, Colorado, Washington, Georgia, and Florida. We are open to traveling world-wide for your wedding and our passports are up-to-date. Travel cost will be added to the contract on an individual basis dependent on distance and travel needs. For weddings in the region we offer up to two hours travel time each way. For weddings more than two hours from Medina, Ohio, we require compensation for the current IRS mileage rate.
What equipment do you use?
We primarily shoot with Canon 5D MarkII. Our favorite Canon L series lenses are the 70-200mm 2.8, the 85mm 1.2, the 50mm 1.4, and the 100mm 2.8. We also have several Canon Speedlights.
We do not need/desire an engagement session, can we remove that from the wedding collection?
We rarely remove engagement photography from our wedding collections with the exception of destination weddings. We believe that it is an important part of your experience with us. An engagement session allows us to get to know each other before the wedding day and for you to become more comfortable and know what to expect on your big day! Plus, it’s a wonderful opportunity for you to have some fun and casual pictures for your home that are consistent with the style and quality of your wedding pictures.
Are you available for just an engagement session?
Unfortunately we are not available for an engagement session outside of our wedding clients. We desire to serve our wedding couples to the best of our ability and we have found that we need to make our schedule as open and available for them as possible.
How do we book you for our wedding day?
We require a signed agreement and a $1000 deposit in order to secure our services for your wedding day. We accept cash and check and there is a 3% additional processing fee for all major credit cards.
When is the remaining balance due?
The balance for a wedding is due two weeks before the wedding date. All other custom design work requires an initial 50% deposit and the remaining balance due upon completion of the project.
You are not in our budget, but we love your photography, what should we do?
We offer a 10% discount for the following:
1. The bride or groom is active in the military
2. The wedding takes place in January, February, or March (in Ohio region)
3. Two individuals (friends/relative) book together (different wedding dates)
After our engagement session and wedding, when will we get our images?
We guarantee your images delivered to you after both your engagement session and wedding no later than 6 weeks. We will post previews to our Facebook page and there will be a blog post with a collection of our favorites posted 2-4 weeks after your engagement and wedding.
Do we receive the copyright to our pictures?
We own exclusive rights to all the images we create. By purchasing our services you gain limited printing privilege for all the images of your engagement/wedding photography. You will receive a printed card granting you permission to use those images for personal printing purposes. However, as detailed in the photography agreement, you will not have any right to publish, sell or in any way market those images as your own.
Can we share our images on Facebook or our website?
Absolutely! An additional set of Facebook-ready images will be included on your disk, making
it easier for uploading onto the web and social networking sites. These low resolution files will have our logo on the bottom of the images.
What do we do after we book our wedding with you?
Relax. We’ll take care of everything. We will be in touch to schedule your engagement session, and we will work together with you on a timeline for your wedding day.
